Heather Singleton is a certified Pilates instructor, certified yoga teacher, and modern dancer with over two decades of dedicated practice and teaching experience. With a BFA in Modern Dance, Heather first discovered Pilates as a young dancer and immediately fell in love with the method’s intelligence, precision, and ability to transform the body from the inside out.
Her Pilates training began at TCU between 1994–1998 through the Dance Department. After graduating in 1998, she earned her mat Pilates certification through the PhysicalMind Institute. She continued her training with Colleen Glenn, a master teacher of Romana Kryzanowska — a direct student of Joseph Pilates — in Dallas from 1998–1999, studying the traditional Pilates method to teach all apparatus. In 2002, she furthered her education with Christi Lane of Pilates Elite in Houston, studying a modern approach to Pilates on all apparatus.
Heather deepened her movement background by earning her Registered Yoga Teacher certification through Yoga Yoga in Austin in 2010. She has since studied with renowned teachers including Seane Corn, Sianna Sherman, and Rod Stryker, as well as immersing herself in yin yoga and a year-long study in Rasa Yoga.
In 2020, Heather expanded her healing arts practice into sound healing — an inspiration rooted in her many years of traveling to Tulum and experiencing the profound, meditative sound baths there. Heather received her Master Reiki certification in 2021, weaving subtle energetic awareness into her sound healing and Pilates sessions.
Today, Heather blends her lifelong love of movement, mindful alignment, and energetic grounding to create a supportive, soulful, and welcoming environment for every client. Her teaching is guided by integrity, curiosity, and a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal, strengthen, and express with freedom.
